Flu & Virus Disinfecting Service

While a simple cleaning can remove many illness-causing bacteria and viruses from most surfaces, it is not as effective as disinfecting combined with cleaning, which uses specific chemicals to kill bacteria and viruses which may remain on frequently used surfaces.

Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, we at Really Neat we have been keeping a close watch on all CDC (Center for Disease Control) recommendations, and researching ways to do our part in keeping South Florida not just cleaner but also safer.

New Services Offered

  • Specialized in-depth cleaning and disinfecting services for offices, homes, and any other location. We can provide you with options to help disinfect potentially contaminated surfaces.

  • In spaces where more widespread coverage in desired, we now offer Fogging services.

    • What is fogging?

    • We enter the property and fog the air using an EPA certified virucidal disinfectant.

      • We fog the entire room and the AC system to disinfect the ducts as well.

      • The virucidal kills viruses within minutes.

      • Once this is completed, high contact areas are cleaned with a bleach solution.

      • Lastly, air scrubbers and specialized agents are left in place to clean and sanitize the air, while removing any odors from the fogging.

CDC Definitions for

Cleaning vs Disinfecting:

  • Cleaning refers to the removal of dirt and impurities, including germs, from surfaces. Cleaning alone does not kill germs. But by removing the germs, it decreases their number and therefore any risk of spreading infection.

  • Disinfecting works by using chemicals to kill germs on surfaces. This process does not necessarily clean dirty surfaces or remove germs. But killing germs remaining on a surface after cleaning further reduces any risk of spreading infection.
